Mobile Cranes
Mechan is the official UK supplier of mobile cranes from Italian experts, Gruniverpal Tranchero.
Minidrel B series cranes feature a combined articulated-telescopic hoisting system for maximum flexibility. They can handle loads of every weight and dimension and reach heights that were previously impossible, thanks to a patented kinematics system.
Minidrel cranes are widely regarded as some of the best telescopic handlers on the market, as their compact construction makes them suitable for indoor and outdoor use in both civil and industrial environments. Precision handling is assured, even in restricted areas, thanks to the slewing boom - 180-degree rotation (left and right) and hydraulic controls.
Available with 4x2, 4x4 or 6x6 traction, the Minidrel offers maximum drive power and adjustable speed for all manoeuvres. Each wheel has a propeller unit powered by independent hydraulic motors, whilst special long-life batteries and competitive maintenance costs ensure longevity.
Operational features:
- Hydraulic control carriage stabilisation
- Hydraulically servo-assisted translation, lifting, extraction and steering
- Wheel steering with squared system
- Proportional speed regulator
- Hydro-braking bench with controlled deceleration
- Patented anti-tilting control
Optional extras:
- Electro-hydraulic winch
- Incorporated battery charger
- Bespoke lifting height and telescopic arm
- Automatic wheel load divider for fragile flooring
- Remote control and/or joystick radio control
- Hydraulically controlled jib articulation
- Eye bolts for load gripping
GB series cranes are the latest lifting systems to be developed by Gruniverpal, offering impeccable handling performance and convenience in very restricted areas.
Minimal dimensions mean the cranes can be used in all kinds of environments and with a lifting capacity of up to 750kg, they are suitable for both industrial and civil uses. As the GB series is very lightweight, transportation is also easy.
Four independent wheels, mounted on special bearings, allow the machine to rotate through 360 degrees. Boom length can be customised to suit each user and a wide range of accessories is available to maximise the GB series' productivity.
Sturdy and practical methods of construction make the virtually indestructible cranes suitable for any workplace and very efficient to maintain.
GIA series cranes are the very best in the Gruniverpal range. They are ideal for lifting awkward loads and handling dies, combining large capacities (up to 3,000kg) with compact dimensions and lightweight construction.
These unique machines feature a slewing boom of up to 3.5 metres and a patented anti-tilt device. A steering helm and dynamic braking system enables the GIA series to self-control deceleration, whilst it can also perform proportional speed hydraulically controlled manoeuvres.
A battery fitted with a reverse gear device to power the tow-bar traction, stabilisers and a battery charger are incorporated on all models as standard. A wide range of optional extras is also available and the GIA series can be supplied with independent booms operated from separate telescopic lifting systems.
